The orchestra colleagues from Stockholm come for their annual guest performance, eagerly anticipated by many. 

The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and their principal conductor Sakari Oramo bring a rarity with them: the eccentric Rued Langgaard’s second symphony, “Awakening of Spring”. There is familiar music in the second half: Sibelius’ Luonnotar (The Honourable Maiden) from the Kalevala legend, and the beautiful incidental music to Pelléas and Mélisande.
