He’ll lower the bow to the strings, and raise it to the musicians.
For the first time, cellist Truls Mørk plays and leads the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in a programme that could be a showcase for the cello as a beautiful, versatile and absolutely wonderful instrument. From Boccherinis’ beautiful strings in the Cello Concerto, to Piazzolla’s sensual tango rhythms and Tchaikovsky’s nostalgic Souvenirs of Florence from the 1800s.

Truls Mørk is Artist in Residence this season (2016-2017).
