Göteborgs Symfoniker

Quiet City

This orchestral piece was composed for a play about a man who abandoned his poetic ambitions and original beliefs to become rich and successful instead.

It can be seen as a depiction of a day in the city beginning at dawn, then the noise during the day and the quiet evening of the end. Contains fine solos for trumpet and cor anglais.
