Violin Concerto

Add to calendar
Samuel Barber’s beautiful violin concerto is one of the most played American violin concertos and it has been on the repertoire since its première in 1941.

An abundance of beautiful melodies but also a dizzying virtuoso finale that have made many violinists pale. Soloist is Valery Sokolov who with his electrified playing has established himself as one of the most sought after young violinists.
