The Gothenburg Symphony´s classical concert at the Culture Festival is tradition. This year an extra festive one inside the Concert Hall, since the orchestra is led by our new chief conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali. Also be sure to mingle with him in Götaplatsfoajén after the concert. The bar is open. The concerts first half is also broadcasted live on a big screen at Götaplatsen.

The doors to the concert hall will open at 16.00, at the same time as the café and restaurant open. Approximately 45 minutes before the concert starts, the doors open to the concert hall, where it is free seating and first come first served. When the hall is full we close the doors.

If you are not one of those who got a place, you are welcome to the Götaplatsen where the first part of the concert will be broadcasted live on a big screen.

You who have listened to the concert in the Stora Hall can mingle further into the foyer afterwards to meet Santtu-Matias Rouvali. For other visitors we open the doors at 20.00, entrance from Götaplatsen.
