At the venue

Your visit at the Concert Hall begins in our foyers. Welcome to arrive in time to enjoy our beautiful house. Make your visit something really special and take your time in our restaurants before the concert.

Tickets, visits and payment

You do not need to print your ticket for your event. It is just as easy to show the pdf in your smartphone. The ticket office is open from 12 noon until the concert starts on weekdays and 3 hours before the concert starts on other days.

Gothenburg Concert hall is completely cash-free, payment cards and Swish are accepted as means of payment.

A safe and secure visit

For us, it is important that you as a public feel safe and secure when you attend one of our events. Here we list all the things we do to create increased security in connection with the pandemic.

To avoid queues and crowds, we have only unattended closets at the moment.

Under current circumstances, no introductions are held before the concert.

The bell, intermission och finishing times.

About ten minutes before the concert starts, we call in for the first time. The second ringing indicates that there are about five minutes left and the third that three minutes remain. After the third ring, the doors to the salon close and the concert begins. At the moment, all concerts are held without an intermission. We state an estimated playing time for each concert on the website. However, we can not guarantee that the playing time is accurate.

During the concert

We welcome everyone to a relaxing mobile-free zone, where the music takes place and the outside world will have to wait. Do not forget to turn off your mobile phone during the concert. Keep in mind that it is not only a conversation that can be disruptive to others in the audience, but also other mobile phone use with glowing screens that draw attention from the shared concert experience.

Information and program sheet

You will find detailed information about your concert on each concert page in the event calendar. For the classical concerts, you will also find work notes there, as well as biographies of the participants.

Dress code

Come as you are! There is no dress code during a visit to us. Keep in mind, however, that there are visitors who may be sensitive to strong scents. Feel free to refrain from strong perfumes and hair sprays with regard to allergy sufferers or to those who are sensitive to scents.

Front of house staff

Our ushers are on site before, during and after the concert to help you out during your visit. Do not hesitate to ask if you need help with anything.
