Knut B\u00e4ck wrote in Handelstidningen:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFull register unleashed a powerful, substantial timbre. The pianissimo again possessed a supersensibility that made the audience almost hold their breath. Especially in the program\u2019s first number, Handel\u2019s Organ Concerto No.10. It sounded as from afar in time, as if the organ\u2019s resonating board had captured the remaining, lingering tones from the ether, those the master\u2019s own chubby fingers once sent out into space\u2026 Mysteriously beautiful!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gso.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gamla-konserthusorgeln.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1254\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In retrospect, there were several deficiencies in the organ. It was too large for the space available, which dampened the organ\u2019s main work, and the electric keyboard\u2019s transmission system with coupling and combination machinery was obsolete already at the inauguration.<\/p>\n<p>It was also unreliable and incorrectly designed \u2013 when playing the upper manuals, the organist lost his balance and had to rely on the keys.
