The tuba is a brass instrument and can be pitched in three different keys. The bass tuba is the most common, but the tuba family also includes instruments of other sizes, such as the tenor horn, baritone horn and euphonium. There is also a circular bass tuba with a forward-facing bell, worn around the player’s body and often used in marching bands.
Our orchestra has one tuba player.
