The main entrance to the Concert Hall is located at Götaplatsen.

For wheelchair users or if you prefer to avoid stairs, there is a ramp from Stenhammarsgatan. From there, you can take a lift up to the entrance hall and the box office.

A wheelchair ramp is available from Stenhammarsgatan. The cloakroom is on the ground floor, and the auditorium is one floor up – a lift is available.

There are four wheelchair spaces in the auditorium (book by calling +46 31 726 53 00), as well as an infrared hearing system (IR). Receivers can be collected from the foyer staff at the entrance.

A Relaxed Performance is a concert format designed to make classical music more accessible. Both performers and audience share an understanding, and everyone – regardless of temperament, age or disability – is welcome to experience the concert in their own way.

During the performance, you are welcome to move around, come and go, and respond naturally to the music. Sound and lighting levels may be adjusted, and there is usually the option to take a break if needed.

The Grand Hall and the The Stenhammar Hall are equipped with a wireless hearing system (IR), which can be used with compatible hearing aids.

If your hearing aid is not compatible, receivers with headphones are available to borrow. The equipment is free of charge and can be collected on site.

Our foyer staff will be happy to help you get set up and answer any questions before the performance.

If needed, you are also welcome to choose a seat that suits you – please contact the box office in advance.

Yes, wheelchair spaces are available in both the Stenhammar Hall and the Great Hall.

The spaces are adapted for wheelchairs with maximum dimensions of 70 cm in width and 105 cm in length. If you use a larger wheelchair or a mobility scooter, we can often find a suitable solution for you.
