Prices and ticket types

Ticket prices for each event can be found on the event page in the concert calendar.

Student tickets

Students have a 50% discount on the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra’s own events. Please note that students at upper secondary school and college/university must be prepared to show a student card / Patronage card.

Children tickets

For the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra’s family performances, we offer children’s tickets for all children up to 12 years.

Group tickets

We offer a 10% discount on group bookings for the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra’s own events. If you want to book tickets for more than 10 people, contact our Ticket Office and they will help you.


The subscriptions give you a 20-50% discount compared to the single ticket price. The size of the discount depends on the type of subscription you buy. Here you will find more information about the prices of our subscriptions.

Watch out for rogue retailers

Remember to always buy your tickets from reputable dealers. Tickets for the concert hall’s events regularly appear on various brokerage sites, and often at a much more expensive price. This is not something we stand behind.

Frequently asked questions

We update the concert calendar continuously and contact all customers via e-mail. If you are unsure of what applies to your upcoming concert, you are welcome to contact the ticket office. You can contact them via +46(0)31-726 53 00 or biljett@gso.se.

All customers with tickets to a cancelled concerts will be contacted to the email address provided when purchasing the ticket. If you do not find the email, it may be a good idea to check the email in your spam. You are also welcome to contact the ticket office on telephone +46(0)31-726 53 00 or via email biljett@gso.se.

  1. Select amount:
    Fill in the amount you want to load the gift card with through one of the pre-selected amounts, or any amount. Click “Continue”.
  2. Complete the purchase:
    Fill in your details, select payment method and complete the purchase. Be careful when entering your email address – the gift card will be delivered directly to your e-mail.
  3. Make it personal:
    Last but not least, you can choose which design you want on your card. You will find the options when you click on “Download gift card”
