Reserve a table
Gild your concert in the Great Hall with a pre-booked restaurant visit and let us pamper you for a while. Welcome to book a table in our á la carte restaurant.
The menu is based on Swedish, locally produced ingredients and is changed every six weeks. The restaurant normally opens two and a half hours before the evening event in the Great Hall. Depending on space, it is also possible to pre-order something to eat or drink for the break.
On Saturdays, you can have an elegant and affordable lunch in connection with the Symphony Orchestra’s afternoon concerts.
Cookbook: A taste of Gothenburg Concert Hall
Visiting Gothenburg Concert Hall is always a holistic experience. Spend time with your best friends, experience great classical music with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and add a tempting piece of food and good drinks in the restaurant. We want to share this in the cookbook A taste of Gothenburg Concert Hall!
The foyer bar of the Great Hall
The Great Hall’s foyer bars are always open in connection with concerts in the Great Hall. If you want to avoid queuing during the break – place your order in one of the bars before the event begins. At family concerts, fika is available for sale.
The Stenhammar Chamber Hall
In the Stenhammar Hall’s foyer, you can choose between tasty hot and cold dishes with vegetarian options, bubbly, organic coffee and other goodies from the Stenhammar menu. The restaurant is open when there is a concert in Stenhammarsalen, and opens one hour before the concert starts. We recommend you to pre-book from the menu below on telephone 031-726 53 00.
KRAV- & Eco-labelled
Our servings are KRAV- and Svanen-licensed and thus meet tough sustainability criteria. The restaurant serves a high proportion of organic food compared to the rest of the restaurant industry and the environmentally conscious staff is constantly working to manage the resources.
The KRAV label is Sweden’s most well-known eco-label for food, built on an ecological basis with particularly high demands on animal care, health, social responsibility and climate impact. With the KRAV certification, we show that we cherish these values and constantly continue our work for an increased serving of good and sustainable food with KRAV-approved foods of high quality.
The Nordic Ecolabel means that energy, water and cleaning chemicals are handled with the best interests of the environment in mind. And the planning is optimized so that the restaurant gets as little leftover food as possible. No seafood dishes contain red-listed species and both food and wine are organic to the greatest extent possible.
A sustainable Concert Hall
All our concert experiences must be in harmony with sustainable principles. And the three dimensions of sustainability – the ecological, social and economic – are an indivisible whole and dependent on each other.
