Welcome to a soaring symphonic celebration where the future virtuosos from the international music camp Side by Side meet the Gothenburg Symphony in a double symphony orchestra! This concert concludes the orchestra’s spring season and is the finale of the camp week.

Join in as the Västra Götaland Youth Orchestra play three British favourites. Hear dramatic sounds of Ethel Smyth and Doreen Carwithen, with Elgar’s Enigma Variations as the finale. Conductor Andreas Hanson.
Family Concert: Together in Space
Let’s go to outer space! At this concert, we hear famous space music such as Holst’s The Planets, sounds from NASA’s archives, and voices from poetry. A journey with musicians from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, whose sounds echo out into the Milky Way. From age 6.

A mystery about everyday joys – the light that takes you from one day to the next. With the help of a string quartet from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Beethoven, we will go in search of the light that has disappeared. From age 6.

Polstjärnepriset Award 2027
An exciting afternoon at Gothenburg Concert Hall as four finalists compete for first place in the Polstjärnepriset Nordic Edition. The competing soloists who perform with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra are 14–18 years of age.
VÄGUS: Mahler Symphony No. 1
Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 is solemn and melancholy, with folk tones and a stormy conclusion. The Västra Götaland Youth Orchestra take on a masterpiece. Conductor Andreas Hanson.
