Gothenburg Concert Hall Rent The Great Hall

Events with ticket sales

All prices apply to events in the Great Hall of the Gothenburg Concert Hall, are stated excluding VAT and are valid until December 31, 2023.

Rental

Monday-Thursday:
Full day: SEK 70 000 SEK
Half day: 45 000 SEK

Friday-Sunday:
Full day: 65 000 SEK
Half day: 42 000 SEK

The rent is based on 10 hours per full day and 5 hours per half day. The rental period is the whole amount of time the tenant has access to the Concert Hall, including loading in and out. Additional hours beyond 10 and 5 are charged at a rate of SEK 3,500 each hour begun. When performing an additional concert or event on the same day, an additional 50% of the venue rent is charged. The hall rental includes a total of 5 hours for meetings, phone calls, and visits; additional hours are paid at a rate of 500 SEK per hour. On request, a quotation will be provided for the cost of renting technical equipment, technical personnel, etc.

 

The rent includes

• Three private dressing rooms, backstage space, and the Great Hall’s connected audience and foyer areas.
• At least one representative staff available for the duration of the rental period, the number of representatives is determined by the Concert Hall.
• Front of house personnel are included, and the number of personnel is determined by the Concert Hall.
• Basic lighting and sound equipment.
• Cleaning services prior to and following the event.

Ticket sales

• All ticket sales are made through the supplier.
• The supplier receives a ticket service fee from the ticket buyer of SEK 25 incl. VAT per ticket.
• The Supplier reserves the right to 10 tickets for each event.
• At events with ticket sales, GSAB does not carry out advance payments of ticket revenue.
• Payouts are always made after the event date with settlement

Merchandise

• If necessary, Göteborgs Symfoniker AB can provide cash register systems and personnel for the sale of merchandise.
• In such cases, 15% of gross revenue is paid as commission to GSAB, as well as a cost for staff of SEK 250 / hour (minimum 3 hours).

Conference/event without ticket sales

Half day, 5 hours: 48,000 SEK

Monday through Thursday:

Hours in excess of 10 for full day and 4 for half day are charged with SEK 3,500 per hour started.
Rental of other technology, technicians and other equipment is available on quotation.
