Gothenburg Symphony Vocal Ensemble
Gothenburg Symphony Vocal Ensemble is composed of twelve talented, dedicated and professional singers.
They are the active core of the Gothenburg Symphony Choir, together with choirmaster Alexander Einarsson and voice coach Maria Forsström, with the ambition to explore the choral artistic possibilities. Sometimes you can also experience them by themselves.

Choirmaster Alexander Einarsson
Alexander Einarsson is choirmaster of the Gothenburg Symphony Choir and the Gothenburg Symphony Vocal Ensemble. He is a trained organist at the Malmö Academy of Music and has been a soloist degree in choral conducting from the Royal Danish Music Conservatory studying with Professor Dan-Olof Stenlund.
Alexander Eniarsson has also studied in Paris for Equilbey Laurence and Denis Rouger and has participated in master classes and courses for conductors such as Michael Glaser, Stefan Parkman, Stephen Cleobury and Helmut Rilling. At the international Grand Prix of choral singing in May 2015 Tours, France, made Alexander Einarsson festival’s director prize in memory of Arthur Oldham.
He is also choirmaster and organist at St. Petri Church in Malmö and is where the artistic director of the Youth Spuk and chamber choir Petri Singers, an ensemble he has given concerts with and toured both in Sweden and abroad, and who also appeared in radio and television.
