Ballad Queen Aynur Dogan is one of the most prominent Kurdish artists. With clear, powerful and distinctive voice, she offers music that can be described as a type of oriental gospel with themes of oppression, freedom and love.

Aynur Dogan’s technique is dazzling and her performance is strong when she sings Kurdish and Turkish folk songs. Her voice is at the center, accompanied by skilled musicians to intense rhythms.

The concert is a part of the FeminEast Festival, visiting the Gothenburg Concert Hall 15-17 december.
