In a dark room in the palacy of Alexandria, the high priest Razaya kneels. The instructions she recieves are simple: kidnap Kleopatra. That’s easier said than done.

Fore years later the disagreeable merchandiser Khufu hears about a brutal gang of plunderers that roars the country around the Nile. Rumour has it that Kleopatra is the gang leader.

In the palacy, Nenna the lady-in-waiting hears something that threatens to expose Kleopatra’s hiding place. At the same time, in Rome, a young man is preparing his departure, not knowing what awaits him on the other side of the Mediterranean sea.

What could have pushed a pharao to gang criminality? Will Nenna be able to warn Kleopatra in time? And who is giving Razaya her instructions?
