Event has already taken place. Star musician Jakob Manz is continuously surprising. The German saxophone player and bandleader offers a surprising mix accompanied by a band of international stars.
A mix of his own funky jazz and groove-based versions of Adele, Billie Eilish, Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie… Accompanied by a band of international stars, German saxophone player and bandleader Jakob Manz offers a continuously surprising musical mix.
He is joined onstage by hand-selected musicians, including two leading names in Sweden: trombone player Karin Hammar and legendary drummer Per Lindvall, who has played with everyone from Abba and A-ha to Stevie Wonder.
Together, they have one foot anywhere at all – while the other is firmly planted in jazz, soul and blues. When everyone understands just what the music needs, this endlessly swinging sound could go in any direction.
At the helm is Jakob Manz, one of the most promising young saxophone players in Germany and Europe, known for his impressive technique and melodic, David Sanborn-inspired sound.
