Come and enjoy all the sounds of a symphony orchestra when the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra visits Mariestad on the shores of Lake Vänern. A pop-up concert in late summer where we get to experience the powerful Fate Symphony by Beethoven, with its famous opening where fate knocks on the door.
There will also be captivating music in a trombone concerto written by Italian film composer Nino Rota. The Symphony Orchestra’s own Endre Vetås is the soloist.
As an introduction, a captivating orchestral gem by Mozart, the fast-paced overture to the opera The Marriage of Figaro. Conductor is Marjolein Vermeeren.
