She had her breakthrough on the pop scene in 1978, and has since then experimented with her sound and artistry on over 15 albums. She has collaborated with many of our greatest stars, and is one of the recurring names in discussions about the Polar Music Prize. Rickie Lee Jones has been described as a cultural phenomenon, is unmistakeable in singing and song-writing, and her live shows have been called “confessional”.

The latest album, The Other Side of Desire (2015) was written and recorded in New Orleans, where she lives and works. The music is the first she’s written in over a decade, and is inspired by events in her life.
