The Great Hall (Stora salen)

  • Wheelchair ramp from Stenhammarsgatan.
  • Coatroom on the ground floor, concert room one floor up. Lift available.
  • Four wheelchair spaces in the concert room (book by telephone, 031-726 53 10).
  • Hearing loop (IR transmission) in the concert room. Receiver to hang around your neck can be obtained from the foyer staff in the entrance hall.
  • Wheelchair accessible toilets can be found in the area by the coatroom and in the Götaplatsfoajén mingle area.

The Stenhammar Chamber Hall (Stenhammarsalen)

  • Wheelchair ramp from Stenhammarsgatan
  • Wardrobe facilities and auditorium on the ground floor.
  • Two wheelchair spaces in the auditorium (can be booked by calling 031-726 53 00).
  • Hearing loop (IR transmission) in the auditorium. A receiver that can be hung around your neck is available from the foyer staff at the entrance
  • Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located in the Wardrobe Hall.

  • Wardrobe hall on the ground floor, concert hall upstairs. Elevator exist.
  • The concert hall has an open floor plan and space for a wheelchair
  • Adapted toilets for wheelchair users are available both adjacent to the Götaplats foyer and down in the cloakroom

Relaxed Performance

A couple of times each season, musicians from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra perform concerts in a relaxed format – ”Relaxed Performance”. During these concerts, both the participants and the audience members are involved, and everyone, regardless of temperament and capacity, is welcome to enjoy the classical music in their own way.
