Sadikova: Farbenzeiten

Composer Aziza Sadikova, Uzbek who resides in Berlin, has her own unique musical language. A Baroque spirit hovers over her rhythmic work Farbenzeiten, which is a paraphrasing of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Here, the well-known notes gain new colour and sparkle with poppy melodies. As soloists, we hear a quartet from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.

Like the premiere in 2024, this performance is led by Kent Nagano, former principal guest conductor of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
