After her 2024 album “Key” led to her first Top 10 placement in eleven years, it is now clear that Alison Moyet will go on a European tour in 2026 - with two stops in Sweden. Age limit: 13 years
Information from Live Nation:
With songs from Yazoo’s career and selected parts from the critically acclaimed electronic solo albums “the minutes” and “Other”, the tour will be a completely new experience for fans to take part in.
The gig at Göta Lejon in Stockholm in 2025 was a 40th anniversary of the Grammy-nominated artist’s solo career and a celebration of the album “Key”. This autumn, one of Britain’s most unique voices returns to Sweden, with songs from Yazoo, the minutes and Other.
“Many years touring the same pool of songs and I am keen for a palate refresher. Specifying which years I will be fishing from too, I think is a grand way to serve pot luck for specific tastes. No bones…,” explains Alison.
While Alison’s live set includes a host of hits from synthpop duo Yazoo, a large part of the band’s material consists of songs that have almost never been performed live before. This will be a unique opportunity to experience songs from the platinum-certified album “Upstais at Eric’s’” and Yazoo’s farewell album “You And Me Both”. In addition, the concert will also feature songs from the icon’s acclaimed solo LPs “the minutes” (2013) and “Other” (2017), both produced and co-written with Guy Sigsworth.
Alison Moyet is one of the most prominent artists of all time. Her combination of soaring vocals, pop hooks and sharp lyrics has given rise to phenomenal success that spans generations. Through Yazoo and her solo career, she has achieved three #1 albums in the UK, five Top 10 songs, a #8 on her latest album “Key” and a total of nine Top 10 singles. Her many achievements include three BRIT Awards, an Icon Award and a Grammy nomination
