Kristina Lugn lets us meet Aunt Flower again!

The unusual childminder, known from theatre shows as well as operettas, continues to cause a stir in her world. New music and texts, written directly for Gothenburg’s Symphony. Performed by actor Mirja Burlin and the orchestra. The concert is in swedish.

Young musicians from Göteborgs Suzukiförening are playing before the concert.

The concert is also played as a school concert.

Kristina Lugn and Aunt Flower

Aunt Flower appeared for the first time in 1993 in a play at the Royal Dramatic Theatre by Kristina Lugn. It was directed by Richard Looft and the role as Aunt Flower was played by Thorsten Flinck.

Kristina Lugn is a poet, playwright and member of the Swedish Academy. She shows up in the most diverse contexts, such as the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, where it was performed a new work, Napping happy. In your arms, with text by Kristina Lugn and music by Benny Andersson.
