Latvian Baiba Skride has performed with the Berlin Philharmonic and the Boston Symphony, and recorded Sibelius’ Violin Concerto (Orfeo), which she will now play with the Gothenburg Symphony.

The programme also includes Sibeliu´s grand Finlandia and Grieg´s suite from Peer Gynt.

Because of disease conductor Alain Altinouglu is replaced by Marc Soustrot.
