On February 4, 2018, GAPF (Never Forget Pela and Fadime), in collaboration with support organizations, organizes an annual gala to commemorate and remember those who suffered and still suffer from honorary oppression and violence.

Participants include artists such as Sara Varga, Skander and Myrna together with speakers such as the author Lars Åberg, a representative from GAPF and the municipal council chairman Ann-Sofie Hermansson (S). The gala’s surplus goes to GAPF’s important work against honorary oppression and violence. More contributors to be added.

Doors open and mingle: 14:00 to 15:00
Gala: 15:00 to 17:00 (including break 30 minutes)

About GAPF

Riksorganisationen GAPF -Never forget Pela and Fadime is a secular and non-profit association working against honor violence. We turn to both men and women who are in one way or another exposed to – or concerned with honor-related violence.

In addition to helping the vulnerable, we work with information dissemination and opinion formation. Today, GAPF is a well-established and sought-after knowledge center in terms of honor-related violence and oppression against youth and women’s rights throughout Sweden.
