Henrik Nyblom leaves a successful city life for a simpler life in the countryside, and now tries to understand whether he made the right choice. Age Limit 13 years
Information from Kulturaktiebolaget:
Henrik Nyblom came to the city with a dream. With his instruments, he was ready to dig out the gold he knew was waiting for him in Stockholm – Sweden’s cultural Klondike. The gigs multiplied, the apartment grew larger and nicer, and just when Henrik had finally gotten a taste of the success he had fought for – he left.
The little gold he had saved was enough to buy a ramshackle old house in Östergötland, and that’s where he lives now. And it feels… good? Right? Or does it?
Join Henrik Nyblom as he, with the help of a piano and grand gestures, does his very best to both understand himself – and make himself understood. Why would someone move out to the middle of nowhere without a driver’s license? How “off the grid” can you really be when you’ve got AI woven into almost every part of your daily life? Is his boundless love for the cat Åke reciprocated? And wasn’t life in the city actually kind of sweet?
In 2026, Henrik seeks the answers with the audience’s help. Feeling conflicted? Perfect!
Age Limit: 13 years
