“To send light into the darkness of men’s hearts – such is the duty of the artist,” said Robert Schumann. But how is music made? Celebrated composer Anders Hillborg talks about inspiring and influential music.  

The lecture coordinator is Camilla Lundberg, former head of music at Sveriges Television and current culture and music writer. Among other places, she can be heard on Klassiska Podden (“Classical Podcast”) on Sveriges Radio. 

The lecture series Classical Curiosities provides you with knowledge about classical music through relaxed Tuesday lectures. You’ll hear the stories behind the music, learn about the composers, and enjoy reflections from the stage and the audience in a delightful mix. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet others who are curious about classical music.
