Motvind started in 1974 in the Gothenburg suburb of Biskopsgården as a pure rock band with lyrics in Swedish that went right into the hearts of young people and provoked older generations. Motvind has throughout the career retained the same pure pathos for the simple man who is often hardly noticed. Motvind have tried to use themselves as a sharpened megaphone for all those who do not dare to raise their own voices when the wind blows cold, but has also had tremendous
fun during the trip. We will reflect a little of this on
the evening in lyrics and music.
