When the Norrland Opera Symphony Orchestra (NorrlandsOperan) travels to southern climes they naturally take music from the north with them: Jan Sandström’s Solamente tu. But also the pure beauty of the Japanese lotus flower that lives its life in water and that inspired Toshio Hosokawa to compose the orchestral piece Blossoming.

And pure beauty for many people equals Mozart. Here, however, one of his few concerts in minor that provides additional darkness to the fleeing shadows in the musical drama.
