Latvian Baiba Skride has performed with the Berlin Philharmonic and the Boston Symphony, and recorded Sibelius’ Violin Concerto (Orfeo), which she will now play with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.

The programme also includes Larsson Gothe’s exciting comment to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, and is given a grand finale with Pictures at an Exhibition.

Because of disease conductor Alain Altinouglu is replaced by Santtu-Matias Rouvali.
