While Latvia is celebrating its centennial anniversary, Sinfonietta Riga will host a guest show in Göteborg’s Concert Hall under the leadership of chief conductor Normunds Šnē.

The Sinfonietta is award-winning for its great openness for musical styles, experimental lust and cross-border projects. Members perceive themselves as part of a “multifunctional laboratory”.

The Sinfonietta is playing with a changing program, it becomes music in an exciting mix with a chamber symphony by Leimane commissioned by Sinfoniette, the last of Haydn’s twelve London Symphonies, and a accordeon concert of Tüur with Fabulous Ksenija Sidrova. Just listen to her amazing musicality in the clip where she interprets Astor Piazzolla.
