When the festival site in Slottsskogen closes for the night, the next chapter begins. During Stay Out West, Way Out West spills out across the city, transforming some of Gothenburg’s most exciting venues into late-night destinations for live music and club experiences.

This year, Gothenburg Concert Hall opens its doors for an exclusive performance in a unique setting. Experience artists up close in an intimate atmosphere where audiences can get closer to the music than on the festival’s main stages.

Individually, Andreas Tilliander and Goran Kajfeš have long been recognized as leading names in Swedish electronic music and jazz, respectively. Both have consistently pushed and transcended the boundaries of their genres. Tilliander has explored everything from techno, drones, and dub to clicks’n’cuts under monikers like TM404 and Mokira. Kajfeš has been a relentless innovator in jazz, playing a central role in bands such as Oddjob, Subtropic Arkestra, Tropiques, Nacka Forum, and Fire! Orchestra.

When Sveriges Radio celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2025, SRP2 commissioned a special piece of music from Andreas Tilliander. He brought in Goran Kajfeš and together they created an interpretation or more of a deconstruction of the station’s different genres – classical, folk, electronic and jazz. This coincided with the release of their first mutual and much-acclaimed album “In Cmin” which came out in the spring of 2025. The performance at Göteborgs Konserthus/Stay Out West will be the first time they perform the piece “sr100” on stage, together with other dreamy, dubby soundscapes that rise above both ambient and jazz.
