Summer Concert with the Gothenburg Symphony and conductor Evan Rogister. Soloist: Johannes Elmberg trombone.

The artist at home: Johannes Elmberg is a student of the Academy of Music and Drama and makes his debut with the Gothenburg Symphony in the melodic Trombone Concerto of Launy Grøndahl, legendary Danish composer and conductor.

Leading the way is brilliant conductor Evan Rogister who has done impressive work at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and also at the Gothenburg Opera, showing his skills in Shostakovich’s masterful first symphony and Wagner’s Prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.

The Concert takes Place at Artisten, due to renovations of the Gothenburg Concert Hall.
