Göteborgs Konserthus TOMAS LEDIN – Symphonia Politropou

When Tomas Ledin, one of Sweden’s most appreciated artists, collaborated with conductor Peter Nordahl and the Royal Swedish Philharmonic in 2022, his well-known songs were given new life on the
album “Symphonia”. This successful meeting later resulted in sold-out concerts and standing ovations. Now Ledin and Nordahl are following up on the success!

In the fall of 2026, they will embark on a brand new concert hall tour with the new album “Symphonia Politropou” in their luggage. Together with some of our country’s finest symphony orchestras, Peter Nordahl’s symphonic reinterpretations of Ledin’s timeless song treasure will be performed at 11 different concert halls around Sweden. “Given the chaos that prevails in our world, many of these songs feel unusually urgent to perform. Conductor Peter Nordahl and I chose from my production from the 70s onwards and quite soon we noticed that it was pulling in a certain direction. To be able to sing here in Peter’s often breakneck and extremely atmospheric arrangements about the affirmation of life, about the power of community and inclusion, about the fact that we all have a choice and about the different colors of love, has been a favor in every way,” says Tomas Ledin.

The tour begins on October 9 at Louis De Geer in Norrköping and ends on November 21 at the Concert Hall in Gothenburg. The participating orchestra in Gothenburg is the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra.
