The jazz bassist and composer Lars Danielsson has written a new work especially for Björn Bohlin, cor anglais, and will be performing himself on the bass.

His music creates conditions of its own and exploits sound across genre boundaries. Here in the company of Hindemith’s portrayal of the artist, Mathis der Maler, and three orchestral pieces by the eccentric Charles Ives – a dangerously attractive mix.
