Homayoun Shajarian is one of the foremost classical Persian singers of his generation, and a superb instrumentalist. He’ll now visit the Gothenburg Concert Hall with the “Chera Rafi” (Why You Left) tour, with his twelve piece orchestra – several members of which are female.

There will be a mix of classical Persian and Western music, arranged and composed by brothers Sohrab and Tahmores Pournazeri, who are also in the band. Chera Rafi is Homayoun’s bestselling tour in Iran, with around 78 concerts throughout the country. Now it’s time for Europe to meet the superstar.
