The Gothenburg Symphony Vocal Ensemble consists of twelve talented, dedicated and professional singers who will be an active core in Gothenburg Symphonic Choir with the ambition to explore the choral artistic possibilities.
We meet winter’s barrenness as a symbol of the end of life but also the sparkling fresh snow in the sun that brings to life a new force. Nørgård timeless harmonies, Lauridsen cheering winter experiences and Poulenc’s poetic “A Snowy Evening” get extra luster in the interaction with the actor Stina Ekblad linking the program with texts by Paul Eluard, Ole Sarvig and Robert Graves.
