An exclusive release concert celebrating the band’s fifteenth album Lighthousekeeping!
Information from the Organize:
After two sold-out Celtic Christmas concerts at Stora Teatern last December, Sweden’s best folk rock band is now coming to Stenhammarsalen to share their new music with their home audience. It will be an exclusive release concert celebrating the band’s fifteenth album Lighthousekeeping!
The title refers to the fact that the music was recorded in a lighthouse keeper’s house, and together with star musician John McCusker (Mark Knopfler), the band dives deep into the Irish and British song tradition that always has had such a huge influence on the band.
The concert will offer lively, intimate, personal, and innovative interpretations of the Celtic songbook, as well as West of Eden’s captivating, and not least entertaining, storytelling between songs.
You’ll soon find out that there is no coincidence that the band has been called “The Best of Contemporary Folk” by Irish Music Magazine.
