Bass, melody, and harmony – that’s all you need. One could also say “Earth, Wind and Fire” – but that name is already taken – so let’s call it “Wieder, Gansch & Paul”!
Information from Stjärnkvällar:
In 2015, Albert Wieder stepped in as a substitute for Mnozil Brass. Together with Thomas Gansch and Leonhard Paul, they began performing an encore at the end of every Mnozil Brass concert – a new one for each tour. Completely improvised, highly spontaneous, and with little or no rehearsal, they took to the stage and did what music is really all about: communicating.
Over time, this evolved into a full concert program, featuring pieces from all corners of their three musical universes:
George Michael, Franz Schubert, Chuck Mangione, Johann Strauss, Toots Thielemans, Udo Jürgens, Henry Mancini, Billy Joel, and many more.
