Handel’s mighty Messiah in cinemas
Handel was London’s musical king, but the Messiah was first performed in Dublin, where Handel was invited in 1742. Since then, the Messiah has earned its place in the repertoire and every year continues to spread joy with favourites like Ev’ry Valley, For Unto Us a Child is Born, and of course the mighty Hallelujah chorus.
