Handel’s mighty Messiah in cinemas

On December 16 at 15.00, you can experience Handel’s mighty Messiah in cinemas all across the country. The concert with the Gothenburg Symphony, the Symphonic Choir, soloists and conductor Nathalie Stutzmann is broadcasted live from the Gothenburg Concert Hall by Folkets Hus och Parker.

Handel was London’s musical king, but the Messiah was first performed in Dublin, where Handel was invited in 1742. Since then, the Messiah has earned its place in the repertoire and every year continues to spread joy with favourites like Ev’ry Valley, For Unto Us a Child is Born, and of course the mighty Hallelujah chorus.

The concert is performed in the Gotheburg Concert Hall 14-16 december 2017.
