A carnival is in town and you’re invited! Principal Guest Conductor Barbara Hannigan opens the season with musical fireworks. Enjoy the Roman Carnival Overture by Hector Berlioz. The music comes from the carnival scene of his rarely performed opera about the Florentine Benvenuto Cellini. The overture is much more popular.
