Nielsen: Symphony No.3
Carl Nielsen’s Symphony No. 3, Sinfonia Espansiva, was composed during a period of personal and creative growth. Nielsen was a great inspiration for Lars-Erik Larsson, and in the idyllic second movement, references to Larssons God in Disguise is heard. Together, these works emanate a sense of expansiveness – a spirit, energy and humanity – that culminates in a radiant celebration of life.
The concert was recorded in Gothenburg Concert Hall in February 2026.
