Nordic – A Fragile Hope: A Premiere Under The Sea

Enjoy a mini-documentary about the concert project Nordic-A Fragile Hope created by film and photojournalist Joakim Odelberg, director Andrea Östlund and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. This is a unique concert project about our fragile sea with exclusive film material taken in sea and coastal environments in all Nordic countries. Inspired by Nordic nature, five composers shine a light on the sensitive marine resources we must care for in the future: Daníel Bjarnason (Iceland), Miho Hazama (Denmark), Mats Larsson Gothe (Sweden), Maja S.K Ratkje (Norway) and Outi Tarkiainen (Finland).
World Premiere: February 21, 2024, at the Gothenburg Concert Hall.
