The evening begins at 4 PM when the bars open. At 6 PM, enjoy a classical concert lasting approximately one hour in the Great Hall. Afterwards, the evening continues with more live music and socialising in the foyer.
In spring 2027, Classical AW presents three concerts featuring a wide range of musical styles and expressions. Experience Poulenc’s moving one-act opera La voix humaine with Barbara Hannigan, Allan Pettersson’s powerful Seventh Symphony, and a vibrant spring concert featuring music by Mozart and Tchaikovsky.

Come as you are to a classical after-work evening of music, mingling and drinks from the bar. Experience the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in a Swedish classic. Allan Pettersson composed Symphony No. 7 based on his own life.
Classical AW: Spring Glow with Gothenburg Symphony
Enjoy a Wednesday evening of mingling and music as the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra play Mozart and Tchaikovsky with glowing elegance. Concertmaster Sara Trobäck leads the orchestra, and Håvard Lysebo is flute soloist.
