Get really close to Beethoven! A string quartet led by the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra’s second concertmaster Justyna Jara sets early Beethoven against the late, the hero of the salon contrasted with the daring, experienced pathfinder. Add to that an insight into Beethoven’s personal life with genuine feelings, opinions and experiences through his letters, read by the actor Johan Gry. In the letters we meet a tormented man who for several years tried to hide his deafness, but here were also benefactors who selflessly provided support and money.
