With his unique ability to be in the moment and communicate with the audience, Concerto Copenhagen marks its twentieth anniversary by contemporising baroque music. This time, the ensemble performs all six of Bach’s famous Brandenburg Concertos.

In 2019, the ensemble travelled to China with the Concertos: now, Gothenburg receives the same honour.

Concerto Copenhagen was established in 1991 by Danish and Swedish musicians. Today, it is one of Europe’s most important and exciting baroque orchestras. Over the years, it has performed with many of the most widely renowned singers and baroque musicians of our day, including Emma Kirkby, Andreas Scholl, Andrew Manze, Reinhard Goebel, Ronald Brautigam and Andrew Lawrence-King.
