Three generations of Russian composers, three formidable experiences.

Tchaikovsky’s delightful strings and bright valse from his Serenade, Prokofiev’s powerful and demonic film score to Eisenstein’s classic Alexander Nevsky, and Rodion Shchedrin’s Concerto for Orchestra “Naughty Limerick”, a little ditty in the spring sun. Emotions, drama, dark humour – the Russian soul in a musical nutshell.
