Event has already taken place

The chamber music ensemble Gageego! continues the exploration of the metropolises of classical music. This time, they contrast the music, composers and cities with ongoing or past conflicts – political as well as artistic.

Jerusalem, Moscow, Madrid and Darmstadt will bear witness to how widely separate expressions can still portray the same struggle, the same experience. This musical exposé in four sections highlights the openly political, the sweet poetical and the austerely introverted. As usual, Gageego! approach their subject with eyes wide open – welcome!
