The high-class neighbouring orchestra from the Academy for Music and Drama has borrowed this season’s Artist in Residence Truls Mørk for a guest appearance in Haydn’s sunny Concerto in C Major.

From the Gothenburg Opera, they have recruited conductor Henrik Schaefer, who will hold together an exciting mix of music: Mussorgsky’s witch’s tale Night on Bald Mountain, Emilie Mayer’s resolute Faust Overture, and Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 3 with music from The Fiery Angel, an opera that nobody dared to produce.
