Young and excited singers and musicians meet in an autumn break concert in the Stora Salen Hall of the Concert Hall. A tradition that renews itself every year through a newly formed choir and orchestra. Fresh voices and spirited orchestral playing in a choral piece with orchestra that lights up a dark part of the year.

This evening, Benjamin Britten’s cantats Saint Nicolas is on the programmme – a dramatic story of the legendary life of the bishop Saint Nicholas.

The autumn break choir with orchestra is done in collaboration with Kultur I Väst and Riksförbundet Unga Musikanter
